Collixio is led by Sayantan Bhattacharya — a long-time, deeply passionate diecast collector who has spent years hunting down Hot Wheels, Maisto, underrated castings, and hidden gems long before Collixio became a thing.
What started as a personal collection slowly turned into something bigger:
- Late-night trades and conversations with other collectors
- Helping friends source hard-to-find models
- Realizing how few trustworthy, collector-minded platforms existed in India
Collixio is simply the natural extension of that journey — a store built by someone who understands what it means to care about card condition, paint finish, wheels, scale accuracy, and the story behind every model.
Where Your Models Come From
We believe a great collection starts with authentic sourcing.
Most of our inventory is sourced directly from brand distributors and manufacturers. That means:
- No random middlemen
- No doubtful, grey-market pieces
- A much lower risk of fakes, tampered cards, or shelf-damaged stock
Whether it’s a mainline basic, a premium set, or a niche brand you’ve only heard of in collector circles, we try to bring it in through trusted, verified channels.
For imported models, we work with reliable partners who understand that these aren’t “toys in bulk” — they’re collectibles. And for Indian-made models, we actively seek out manufacturers who share our obsession with detail and quality.
How We Pack: Collector-Grade, Every Single Time
We know how it feels when a dream piece arrives with bent cards, crushed blisters, or chipped paint. That’s exactly what we work against at Collixio.
Every order is packed with a collector’s mindset:
- We use corrugated boxes of various sizes to make sure the model fits snugly — not squeezed, not rattling.
- Each product is wrapped with bubble wrap for primary protection.
- The empty spaces are filled and cushioned with paper balls so the models don’t move around in transit.
- The box is sealed securely with brown tape to keep everything intact throughout shipping.
- An invoice is attached to the box along with shipment details, so your order is clearly labeled, trackable, and ready for smooth delivery.
From the outside it looks like a normal package.
On the inside, it’s packed like a collector packed it for another collector — because that’s exactly what’s happening.
Our Place in the Market
Yes, it’s true — a majority of our current products and sales come from imported, foreign-manufactured diecast models. Those are the brands many of us grew up loving, chasing, and collecting.
But that’s only half the story.
Collixio is equally invested in promoting veteran and upcoming Indian manufacturers of diecast models. We genuinely believe that Indian brands have huge potential — not just as “budget options,” but as serious, display-worthy collectibles in their own right.
On our website, you’ll see:
- Foreign brands that every collector recognizes and trusts
- Indian brands that are already doing incredible work — or are on their way there
We aim for balanced representation of both Indian and international brands across our store. Whenever we add a brand or product line, we ask just one core question:
“Is the quality good enough for a collector to proudly display this on their shelf?”
If the answer is no, it doesn’t make it to Collixio — no matter where it’s made.
The Only Rule: Quality First
We don’t chase every trend. We don’t list every model. We don’t add brands just for the sake of a longer catalog.
